| Job Details Leading Global Manufacturer Improve Production Efficiency and Setting Performance Standards $65-85K Base + Super My client is one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of air conditioning and refrigeration technologies. This is a newly created to role specifically created to intensify the focus on further improving the production quality and efficiencies. Reporting to the General Manager your main objective is to ensure new and existing manufactured products are correctly assembled in the most efficient manner. This will encompass establishing performance standards and processes within the manufacturing environment. You will conduct and analyse time motion studies on the entire production cycle aiming to improve on the current efficiency level. You will also assist in the standardisation of performance targets as well as product specifications. Based on your findings you can recommend improvements upon existing work methods, processes and product specification. Additionally you will also be involved with OH&S committee engendering a safety culture throughout the facility. To be successful in this role you will have at least 7 years or more of industrial engineering experience well versed in conducting time-motion studies, developing production performance standards and providing a safe working environment. You will have a solid understanding of production and labour related costs in relation to the actual processes. Excellent communication skills are a must as well as possessing the capability of effectively engaging with employees from all levels within the organisation.
